Christian Jeldres Henríquez

  • Electrical Engineer from the University of Chile, Master in Energy Economics from the Technical University Federico Santa María and with a Diploma in Project Evaluation and Management at the University of Chile, with 17 years of experience in the chilean electricity market. He has worked in transmission planning in Transelec, and operation of electrical systems in CDEC-SIC and CDEC-SING (today CEN). He has worked in Technical Managements in some non-conventional renewable generation companies.
  • He has a solid experience in regulation of the electricity market and a knowledge in the operating criteria of the electrical system, which has allowed him to be a leader in the negotiation of contracts the sale of transmission and generation assets, PPAs and a lot of interconnection agreements.
  • Last years he has led teams to achieve the interconnection of generation and transmission projects to the electrical system, coordinating multidisciplinary teams as: studies, engineering and EPC.
  • More than 6 years he worked as an assistant professor at the University of Chile, and has also guided several thesis at the University of Chile and at the Technical University Federico Santa María.
